Fully wireless fire alarm system for Great Western Arcade in Birmingham City Centre
Britannic Fire & Security recently completed the handover of a remote signalling fire system at the Great Western Arcade, a Grade 2 listed shopping arcade managed by CBRE.
The 350 device system installed is fully wireless and integrated one or two existing fire detection systems present in some of the arcade units for example like Greggs the bakers into the Arcade system also with wireless links.
The monitoring is via a dual path CSL twin GSM transmitter allowing the client to maintain a high security and integrity link to the monitoring centre for a brigade response to fire detection alerts without the need for any phone line or IP connection.
