Fully wireless fire alarm system & CCTV for Starbank School
Starbank School in Birmingham is a mixed all-through school. Located over three separate sites the school hosts more than 2000 pupils.
We were contacted by the Starbank School in Birmingham to put together a quote for the upgrade of their existing fire alarm bells to sirens and more recently installed IP CCTV across the site.
Following the initial contact, we put together a quote for a wireless system that would reduce the costs and the time taken to install. Due to the nature of schools, we understand that they have to manage their budgets effectively and ensured that we provided a quote that would help with this. Using the wireless technology that we suggested we were able to install the system for much less than other companies offering conventional wired systems.
At a later date, we were then requested to update the schools' CCTV measures with new IP CCTV across the premises. This means that the facilities manager could watch over the entire site and make sure that all people on site were safe as well as keep an eye on antisocial behaviour.
